Rivets
We have a wide range of rivets and rivet nuts.
Â
Rivets are a type of blind fastener used for fastening thin sections of metal or plastic together. They are used mainly when access to the rear of the workpiece is restricted. When fixed they create a smooth finish. They are applied using rivet pliers, lazy tongs or pneumatic and battery powered tools. They are available in aluminium, steel and stainless steel in a variety of different types including multigrip, large flange, countersunk, peel, sealed and coloured multigrip. Also known as pop rivets.
Â
Rivet nuts are an internally threaded blind fastener to fix thin sections when access is only available from one side. They are installed with tooling which crimps the nut and creates an internally threaded hole to screw machine thread fasteners into. Used widely in sheet metal, engineering and automotive industries. There is a variety of head types including flange, reduced and countersunk in both aluminium, steel and stainless steel.
